Transportation

Sustainable transport refers to any means of transportation with a low environmental impact; this includes walking, bicycling, regular use of mass transit, green vehicles, and car sharing.

It also refers to designing and constructing roads that are direct, fuel-efficient, space saving, and are friendly to non-automotive modes of transportation (for example, having a designated bike lane).
