Led by the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita, the Wichita Initiative to Renew the Environment (WIRE) is a grassroots initiative designed to investigate environmental concerns in Wichita by providing opportunities for members of the community to voice their environmental concerns and work towards improving their local environment.

So if you are interested in voicing you concerns on a particular local environmental issue, want to be involved in one of the myriad of projects going on within the City, or just want to find other like-minded citizens in your neighborhood, don't hesitate to become involved with WIRE.
