The Wichita State University Green Group is a fellowship of like-minded individuals who are committed to conservation, awareness, responsibility, and education concerning our shared natural environment. We believe there is an interdependent relationship between us and our surroundings. We hope to influence our fellow campus denizens to be conscious of their impact on the environment.

Our mission is to promote four basic tenets:

• Conservation - we are committed to encouraging the preservation and careful management of our shared natural environment
• Awareness - we are committed to increasing awareness of our interdependent relationship with the natural environment
• Responsibility - we are committed to ensuring our efforts are always focused on our mission and respectful of all those involved
• Education - we are committed to educating the campus community concerning its part in impacting our shared natural environment
